Former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for lying and obstructing the CIA leak investigation. Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, stood calmly before a packed courtroom as a federal judge said the evidence overwhelmingly proved his guilt. Libby was convicted in March of lying and obstructing an investigation into the 2003 leak of CIA operative Valerie Plame’s identity. (AP)

fyi libby is a Jew and married to a Jew. I don’t think the picture is befitting this wonderful news organization.

You are starting to make an impression of a liberal news agency, by putting up headlines of scooteer libby’s sentence, and not even mentioning democrat congressman William Jefferson from Luisiana’s indictment, when if he’s convicted he might set the record of the most corrupt legislator in history.

what a country. you get convicted of something you were never charged for! he wasnt even the one to “leak” the name in the first place.
the judge was on the take. there is no doubt about it. here is hopeing he wins the appeal.

He wasn’t the first to leak the name, but he did help leak the name, and he clearly lied to cover up the leak. I still can’t help wondering, “Would he have gotten as severe a sentence, if he were not Jewish?” Same for Pollard.
