Pakistani police have announced the arrest of two men wanted in connection with the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Daniel Pearl HYD. Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter, was researching a story on Islamic militancy in Karachi, Pakistan when he was abducted in January 2002. The journalist’s body, his throat slit, was found months later in a shallow ditch in a compound on the outskirts of Karachi.
