First I’d tell them halacha Ein Mesichin B’seudah, one is not allowed to talk while eating /chewing food
lest some food goes down the wrong pipe. (but u have 2 practice what u preach)
If they don’t get the message,I’d get up & wait out the storm in the bathroom till the table was cleared of food and food projectiles.
