Chayav the point that you are making is a very good point. If a child is constantly told no he will go behind a parents back and do it anyway. It is up to a parent to know when to say no and when its really not so terrible and to let it go and tell the child yes. But when it comes to driving its a totally different story. There are many teenagers who are very responsible behind the wheel but unfortunately there are many who arent. And even the ones who are when they take their friends in the car they can be totally different drivers. There is a certain “power” a new driver feel when he has a wheel in his hand and when he has friends in the car that dont drive yet theres that urge to show off sometimes. When my kids first started driving i was very strict about not taking friends in the car. C”V if something would happen i would be the one that would have to answer to their parents.
