There were thing that were considered moral and O.K. then that wouldn’t be considered so now. As well as (possibly more) things that are considered moral and o.k now, that would have been considered immoral and wrong then.
Trying to judge what was and should have been considered moral in the Middle East 4000 years ago while living in the western world in the 21st century is kind of silly.
