There is a such a thing as tsadikkim asher be’umos haolam (Yerushalmi, 2-nd Perek of B’rachos; other places). Some people’s extreme and ignorant opinions lead them to aveiros: not caring about Chillul HaShem, not loving Geirim, hisgarus be’Umos ha’Olam etc.These opininos are against Da’as Chazal and common sense.
