A person shouldn’t take OTC medication on a regular basis w/o your PC’s recommendation. Once in awhile fine. I sometimes have to take tylenol, advil, aleve and narcotics together, but I think I know what I’m doing. I don’t do this everyday though. For people with chronic pain -you should go to a pain management specialist. Sometimes people need to be on high doses of narcotics constantly to manage their problems. I don’t recommend PC’s to do this, (even though I know some that do), because sometimes the gov. will come after you. Why bother having to prove to them medical necessity, that you’re not helping an addict? Let the specialists take the heat from the DEA.
