1. He was railroaded by the Europeans. The U.S. stood up as long as possible against them. In the end the Bank agreed he was not at fault, and the fault lies with ”numerous individuals.”

   I.m not familiar with that program in Gush, but the man happens to be Jewish.

3. first of all all many of those bank officials and directors who are sitting and judging him are also corrupt and use nepotism to get jobs for their “friends”….
   second of all he was told by the ethics committee of the bank that he could not recuse himself from the decision of what should be done for his girlfriend. why is it his fault then if he helped get her the job she got they told him when he tried to recuse himself that he can not

4. Uh he is a walking Chillul Hashem. Everyone knows he’s a Jew and engineered Iraq policy, whether you agree with it or not, its costs in lives and money are staggering. And he has a an Arab Girlfriend on top of that and he gets her a pay raise – illegal or not ?

   I dont think you understood me. What I said was that if one believes that one should stick to their own when it comes to man/woman relationships,it doesnt that they are bigots.

9. Our feelings about Wolfowitz’s personal life need to be separated from the facts of this case. While we may find much of his behavior objectionable, it is probably no more so than many uneducated, unobservant Jews.

   However, the World Bank fiasco is a complete travesty! For those following the story, Wolfowitz reported the relationship and asked to be recused from any negotiations with the woman in question, and the board turned him down! All his attempts to bring transparency to the workings of the World Bank have met with resistance from the European bureaucrats.

   For a more detailed, documented look, read the Wall Street Journal reports and op-eds going back several months. They exposed the double-dealings of Wolfowitz’s enemies a long time ago, but it seems no one was willing to go to bat against the Europeans on this one.

10. actually, the bum who bought the hothouses for the arabs to destroy was wolfenson (spelling check: possibly wolfensohn, or similar), a clintonite.

    wolfowitz would not do something like that. wolfowitz’s father was a holocaust survivor, and wolfowitz’s assets are nowehere near what would be required to lose on such a scam that wolfenson did. (by the way, no one believes wolfenson spent his own $$$ on those hot houses. the real investigation should be how did the us (cia or whatever) funnel us govt funds to this project / scam, but they’ll never investigate. after all, this probably comes from the same fund trhat was used to bankroll the anti-netanyahu campaign twice; once successful, once unsuccesful; but you’ll never get anyone to investigate that. (the problem is that some yw commenters will complain about netantyahu’s (second) wife. well, we’re stuck with what we have (and netanyahu was not so ay-yay-yay; check spelling) )
