Mispallilim arriving at the “Yeshurun” Shul in Bnei Brak this morning were shocked to find that their twelve Sifrei Torah were stolen.

Kikar reports that the Aron Kodesh was found broken into, and the 12 Sifrei Torah were removed from their cases. (The Sifrei Torah stolen were from a Sefardy Shul.) The empty cases were found scattered across the floor of the Shul.

Rafi Reged, the Police Superintendent in the area has launched an investigation into the theft, and detectives are working aggressively to catch the perpetrators.
