anonymisss: I think the whole thing about if people say something it will only push them further away is really stupid. If it does push them away then they are already pretty far gone anyway and there is absolutly nothing you can do to help and there is usually not much further they can go.
You’re probably right about them being far gone anyway. If that’s the case, why push them further? And about there being absolutely nothing you can do to help, that may or may not be true, (although I don’t believe that to be 100% true.) Either way, the more times they’re pushed away, the less likely they will ever return. People naturally tend to gravitate towards places where they feel respected and cared for. If you can give her that, then I do believe it’s very possible that one day she WILL come back. Yes, it might take a VEEEEEERRRRRRRRYYYYYY long time to see the results. I believe that it can happen.
