I can definitely understand you regarding the environment. Where I work, I can find at least one reason to send each of my employees to the shrink. Seriously. Besides for two. One quit last week and the other, well today was her last day cuz she’s getting married. That leaves me alone with a bunch of loonies. And the CR, thank goodness!
If I am wrong, and you mean that the environment is too much to the left for you, well a teacher of mine gave some sound advice in order not to get influenced. As soon as you begin working in a new environment, make a list of all the things that stick out and seem to you as wrong. (which they probably are) Keep the list handy and constantly check it every so often. See what happens. It works!
