but for someone to say you shouldnt get drunk because you may kill someone is ridiculus.
I would equate that statement to those who say not to use the internet because it can cause spiritual harm. In fact, you can recover from spiritual harm, but you cannot unkill someone.
Personally, as a teenager this was a mitzvah I was very makpid on 🙂
