How about taking them to a nice mall. Then go out for lunch to someplace that none of you have ever been before. For example if you go to Freehold mall in NJ, try an eatery in Deal. Then go home and play a good game of scrabble or monopoly. Together cook a gourmet dinner of their favorite foods. That will be a day to remember.
