AZ, maybe you can come up with something better than “there are more good girls than good boys” for this aspect of the “crisis”. If you persist in calling it that, you are contributing to the problem of labeling boys who aim for anything less than Rosh Yeshiva of the world, super long term learning, etc. NOT good boys. And this is is terribly, terribly wrong.
Besides the learning gap issue, there is the issue of boys going OTD, much more serious.
I feel that all this must be addressed as seriously and energetically as the demographics.
