Israeli wounded in drive-by shooting

masked gunman.jpgA 30 year-old Israeli was seriously wounded on Sunday in a drive-by shooting in the area of Ramallah. He was apparently struck by a barrage of bullets in the head and the leg, but somehow managed to reach the Na’alin checkpoint, where MDA medics evacuated him to the Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer. He is listed in critical condition.

An offshoot of the Aksa Martyrs Brigades later claimed responsibility for the shooting. Security forces believe that the same group was responsible for an attack in the area three weeks ago that wounded four Israelis.

One Response

  1. Stop dismantling check points, and keep improving surveillance, instead of showing “Good will” to the EU and Gaza murderers.
