Why are “we” on the defensive? Ever think that maybe just sometimes THEY are the ones copying us? I’ve heard educated people say that the Gregorian Chants are most likely taken from the Leviim from the Bais Hamikdash, Sheyboneh Bimhairah. It may not always be the case but it probably is the case more often than you think.
