Why do we need to consider what other people might think of us if e.g. we don’t have a new designer label dress for YomTov. Do we really need the latest model of cars?
It reminds me when I got married people were commenting on what a beautiful kallah dress I had. One lady asked me how much it cost and I said $40 dollars as I had bought it in a sample sale. Suddenly it was not such a special dress..in their eyes
