If you think of this before davening (and of course- Da Lifnei Mee Atoh Omeid), you will have a good starting point of how you want to daven. It sets the right perspective. Just unburden yourself, ask for anything you might need, thank Hashem in the correct sections of davening for all the good He does for us etc.
