Amichai, maybe discuss the situation with her. Maybe she didnt realize that it hurt you? Everyone is allowed a certain amount of privacy, but IMHO there are certain things that you really should tell your family on your own. SHe might be more sensitive to it if you can really explain why it bothers you.
