So far I’ve only used family members to watch my children if my husband and I are out. If I were to hire outside the family, I wouldn’t want another child i.e. a 13 year old, watching my children.
***Correction from a previous poster: If a child IS in fact choking, you DO start doing back blows.
Everyone who is a parent, and/or babysitter should be certified in cpr and first aid.
