Squeak, it’s very simple. I wear a suit and tie six days a week. My current firm does not have casual days. The khakis and the blazer are a direct reflection of oneg Shabbat. I enjoy the day so much more because I avail myself of the opportunity to dress informally after schul and kick back a little and relax. Shabbos is the day I can play outside with my kids, push them on the swings, jump on the trampoline etc. When they are with friends, I have the time to sit down with a good book or sefer, a tall glass of something to drink, or the occasional beer and read. Those few hours are most precious. I don’t think I could do it in a suit. There might be those who think I disrespect Shabbat in this way. I just don’t think I do.
