Respectfully, I disagree. Just by virtue of getting older, people experience things in life that help to mature them. Certainly, unless he is really dysfunctional, most people would agree that a 23 year old boy or girl is not the same as a 19 year old. My son is about to turn 23, and though he has always been mature in many ways, he is certainly more grown up than he was when he 19.
