And about Rav Matisyahu shlita saying that America should look to the English way for shidduchim: I would like to know the exact context. I doubt he is recommending the 3 -5 date shidduch system as much as the European mindset. I don’t know what it’s like with European boys now but they had a much more wholesome mindset and different expectations of women and marriage then many American boys did.
