NY State Police officials say that the trooper killed in Delaware county earlier this week (as reported HERE on YW) was shot by friendly fire. Trooper David Brinkerhoff was part of a team of troopers searching a farmhouse for Travis Trim, the man suspected of shooting and wounding a trooper the day before. Brinkerhoff and another trooper were shot during that search. The other trooper is expected to recover from his injuries. (WNBC)
