Miki Goldwasser, the mother of IDF soldier Ehud Goldwasser who was killed by Hizbullah terrorists, had harsh words for government officials regarding their actions on behalf of Gilad Shalit.

Mrs. Goldwasser stated that hanging a picture of Gilad Shalit in one’s office and releasing statement that you are working for his release is simply not enough, making her remarks during a Netanya rally calling for his release as we mark his fourth anniversary in Hamas captivity.

Regarding the controversy surrounding a possible prisoner release deal to obtain Gilad’s release, Mrs. Goldwasser stated that the government must pay for its failures. The activists marched on Gilad’s behalf, marking his fourth anniversary in captivity, calling on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to make the difficult decisions to bring Gilad home.
