NMB is a warm community and has nice shuls and weekly shiurim (for women too) kosher restaurants, pizza and bakeries. Has a cool canal/river running right alongside the frum community (its in the eruv too). Beautiful & scenic path for wallking/running/biking.

Miami can easily feel crowded- as if your in NY – by the amount of frum people here. It’s a quick drive to the beach from NMB or a bus ride.

Curious pretty much nailed it with cool activities.

To add a few more –

– Waterskiing, kiteboarding, beach scooter (motorcycle) rental. Not cheap.

-Best Bike/kayak rental prices are at Blue Moon Miami (google it) in Oleta River State Park (right near North Miami Beach)

-Biscayne Bay has cool boat tours @ Bayside Marketplace Marina – speed & sail boat & ‘pirate’ ship tours. 1-2 hours long. Google the marina – call their # for boat ride info.
