Itzik – I think you are oversimplifying the issue of friends. Its not always easy to move from group to group even if you change. Often, you have already been labeled as part of the “XYZ” crowd and sort of get stuck there.
I have quite a bit more to say, but I need to think about how to verbalize it well, so this is sort of a half post.
