Hundreds of anti-Israel protestors gathered at the Port of Oakland (California) in the United States to block longshoremen from unloading an Israeli cargo vessel. The San Francisco Chronicle reported that one of the organizers explained their mission was to block the unloading process for 24 hours, and they succeeded in the mission.
The presence of protestors during the predawn hours on Sunday morning prevented a Zim vessel from docking, hoping to then arrive during the midday hours, but in actuality, it was delayed until 6:pm. The longshoremen however were not unloading and the actions of the protestors resulted in the vessel being unloaded the following day.
The hundreds of participants accused Israel of killing innocent civilians in Gaza, decrying the policies of the Israeli government.

According to Arutz-7 the protestors were at the wrong boat, causing delays to a Chinese ship. The Israeli ship came in 12 hours late, and had no problems unloading.
