Mrs. Beautiful: that’s a lovely thought but anyone who says that to someone to encourage her to have more when she’s at a breaking point has to have broad shoulders (breitze plaitzes? Sounds better in the Yiddish) to be there to offer whatever moral and other support possible. Don’t we all remember the beautiful stories of the old time rebbeim who would tend to their flocks? An impersonal rav running off bromides and not being there to help pick up the pieces is not inspiring.
