Bomb Threat Closes N. Sinai Airport


According to reports based on Egyptian security officials, the al-Arish International Airport located in N. Sinai was closed on Wednesday due to a bomb threat.

An anonymous call(s) spoke of bombs and explosives in the airport, resulting in a shut down and the start of a comprehensive search for the devices.

As of 5:00pm Israel time, an intensive search is still underway and no bombs were detected.
