Teenager, I guess there is no real definition of modern orthodox. Everyone has a different version of it. There is nothing wrong with wearing a different type of Kippah, or not wearing a black hat. Where does it say in the Torah, what color or type of head covering one should wear? I’m not talking about that, and anyone here who is not ‘yeshivish’, is getting all offended. It does say in the Torah, that women have to cover their hair and body, and this has nothing to do with ‘yeshivish’. A man is also not allowed to look at uncovered parts of a woman, which is plastered all over TV. These things are Halacha, not preferences.
