When I went to Brooklyn College for night classes, as I passed through the cafeteria, I would sometimes see a girl here and there standing behind a beam davening Mincha. The truth is that I felt a sense of pride in the Kiddush Hashem that 1. She was davening and 2. she didn’t do it in the middle of the room in front of everyone’s face.
