Think Big: Yes, and I ‘m talking 60’s; 70’s; and certainly before. These were Yeshiveshe weddings that I attended both in New York City and other cities (I would was not from NYC but would come in from Yeshiva).The m’saderei kiddushin at these weddings were established “giant” Roshei Yeshiva and Rabbonim of that era. The two major NY bands then were Rudy Tepel and Joe King.
