I am looking to update my phone to a Android Service phone. with a removable battery only & not looking to spend above the range of $250
can you advise me from your past phones, what you feel is a reliable phone & is affordable that includes these amenities?
Today’s latest updated phones are holding between $750 to $1000.
Thank you

thats what you say & thats where i am now. with an old fashioned phone they stopped making years ago. all my friends say “i am still living in the stone age”. but it won’t last forever. so better to find a phone now before my current phone goes bad.
wish i didnt have to

Cricket has cheaper androids also. They have a Samsung one at the moment for less than $100.00.

You can still get a dumbphone for pretty cheap if you shop around. After all of your talk about how bad smartphones are, I’m surprised you’re in such a rush to switch.

December 22, 2015 5:17 pm at 5:17 pm #1118029appdevParticipantGet the Nexus 5x (directly from Google). It works on all the US carriers, and you don’t need to sign up for any contract so you can get a good monthly price.
The 16 GB version is 330. It is well worth the 80 above your 250 price limit. I is a phone that will last you 2-3 years.
I just bought 3 of them (for my parents, and grandfather).
Do not get a cheap Samsung phone. It will be nothing but trouble and headache for you.

does it come with a removable battery? this is one of the tops on the list. cause i use my cell phone as a business phone assisting people on it all day. so i need extra batteries to switch when they die before the day is over
December 22, 2015 9:57 pm at 9:57 pm #1118033apushatayidParticipantwhat phone has a fixed batter? tip. they all come with plugs you can connect to an outlet. also a usb cable to connect to your laptop/desktop.
December 22, 2015 10:37 pm at 10:37 pm #1118034Mashiach AgentMemberi have done research on tons of phones & cant decide between either the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the LG G3 phone.
if you know about these phones. which would you advise more & why. they both have they pros & cons between them
December 23, 2015 3:23 pm at 3:23 pm #1118035appdevParticipantWith the nexus 5x you dont need a removable battery. most phones today are going the non-removable route as it allows for a larger internal battery and a more rigid cell phone body.
December 23, 2015 5:52 pm at 5:52 pm #1118036Mashiach AgentMembernot with me. my phone is used a lot & is a business phone. so i cannot afford to have it dead with no power & therefore need a phone with removable battery to put another full battery in when needed

You don’t have to.
but it won’t last forever. so better to find a phone now before my current phone goes bad.
You can still get a basic phone now, for the day your current phone goes bad.
Don’t make up that you wish you didn’t have to. Your reasoning doesn’t hold any water.
