    Sushibagel, that’s just the semi-conservative media distorting the facts. It’s the Ratite-Giraffid coalition, particularly the cassowaries that are controlling the scientific community. The flamingos control the government.

    When I first saw the thread title, my reaction was, “no, we are all influenced (on some level) by everything we read whether we realize it or not.”

    Once I read further, I was a bit less sure,… BUT,I still stand by my original statement, even though the impact is much smaller with some statements than with others.
