I recently read a thread complaining that the default section was overloaded with threads I don’t know if it was thought of but maybe the default section should be put all the way in the bottom so you have to look through all the categories and then if it doesn’t match any of them you can put your thread in the default section. Is it a good idea?
Or a new section could be created and set as default, named “Not categorized-presumably about donkeys’ rights”.
There should not be a default but a blank space which must be filled to allow threads to be posted.
Key Master, Mods, maybe there’s a way to change the default to blank and be a *Required Field.

when i miss the ock here for 3days i justgo thru the decaf to see whats ben going on. If everyone wud put threads in their proper categories they wud never be seen
I would think that users would find it easiest to look at the front page, where all threads appear, regardless of category. And, if a thread has recently fallen off of the front page, you can type http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/page/2 into your address bar. Any number can replace the 2 for an older page.

Often when I’m bored, I go through the various sections of the cr archives.
So yes, the categorizing of threads is quite important.
