    LF, I sympathize with you. It seems that there’s been yeridas hadoros, and the caliber and quality of the fun in the CR has lost some ta’am- it’s not as geshmak and juicy as it used to be.:(

    Actually yes.

    But one more point. This place seems to have a life of its own. Ups and downs. There was a point years ago when a most prolific writer was going through difficult times and used this place as an outlet, to pour out her heart, cry out, get comfort etc. She used her unique talents, style to humor us, to keep us all spellbound, in suspense for her pieces. She really “owned” the place. Then one day, out of the blue, she decided she’s quitting. And she did. And then one post after another appeared saying basically goodbye to the CR. Um… I think it’s still running…

    Hey, you’re right, LG! This place did quiet down after she left.

    I wish e****** hadn’t left… She was the best! I remember reading her posts and thinking that I should post on the cr just so that I could talk to someone as amazing and special as her.

    For all the newbies, you could see how awesome she is from the fact that she quit the cr cold turkey. That takes an insane amount of self control!

    E******, if you’re reading this, just know that we miss your inspiring, funny, and insightful comments, and hope that you’re doing well.

    I know you haven’t posted under this name back then, I’m asking if you were either posting under a different s/n or just browsing without posting.

    And no, everyone here knows to keep logic far away from me..

    And btw her heyday was not a year ago, rather about four years ago, she made her appearance in around September and made her gigantic waves in only 5 months… Those that came trickling afterwards were only echoes of the real thing. How she rocked the boat!! But she had a tremendous self control and was able to pull the plug. Me however.. unfortunately…

    Cooool!Warms my heart.I really did pull the plug on computer internet forever BH. And like I said recently, I am eagerly awaiting my kosherized (browserless) phone from Lakewood as I really dislike this smartphone for all it can do.(what a time-waster and test!)

    I hate smartphones for what they can’t do. They probably shouldn’t even be called phones, because they are terrible at calls.
