Since Israel is compared to the moon, does anyone know of any midrashim, gemaras, etc. that mention anything regarding the supermoon we’ve had in July, August, and again this September, where the full moon is much brighter and bigger than normal. Hopefully it’s a good sign for Israel and the Jewish People.
The significance of it is that the moon is closer to the horizon. It may have an effect on tides but I’m not sure of that
