What can be done when the board members (officers, president, Vice President, etc.) of a Shul are doing a bad job and when it comes time for new elections, people don’t want to insult the current officers for are running for re-election, by nominating someone new?? A couple of the officers in a particular Shul were clearly given their positions as a polite gesture, not due to their competence or being good at it, how do you get them out for the benefit of the Shul, without hurting feelings?

We all know that the person who is financing the shul, is the really the one who decides who gets to be on the board. He is the power behind the throne or in reality “the power behind the board”! He just tells the people privately who to vote for.
