i am in sem that is two years long. and i dont want to go back, i want to stay home and work, and get married. but it is the accepted thing in the community that girls go to sem, and finish the year(s).
i enjoy the shuirim even though i find them hard, but i dont feel like i am getting much out of them.
i always said, that if someone will only marry me if i went to sem, they are not for me. but my parents really want me to stay.
should i stay till the end of the second year?

2) Call or meet them, explain entire situation including your fears.
3) Make sure you are solidly comfortable with their guidance and that it makes 100% sense to you. Ask them openly of any questions you have with their. If not, find someone else.
4) Bottom line, listen to your own heart. True Guidance is only
to remove the clouds in your heart.
May 6, 2014 5:27 am at 5:27 am #1066262eyalovichMember(I think this is a good place to mention this) People that do things because it will give them a better shidduch etc will end up hating there life and if a guy is marrying you because you went to seminary for 2 years then he will expect the lifestyle of a girl that went to seminary for 2 years (willingly)
it is smarter to get married and on with your life when you feel your ready go for it (no one knows you better then you do) but you do pick up some good things in seminary sometimes doing what our parents want turns out pretty good but don’t do things for the wrong reasons there are too many people that end up hating themselves because they were pressured to live a certain way and now they want out but are tied in to deep and end up miserable so think about the pros and cons and talk to someone as others mentioned here
Ps if dating while you are in seminary is a option then maybe you want to go that way the dating process can take some time and if you can do both

you should really talk to someone you trust about how you feel, maybe a older friend. Its not easy to decided such things especially when it effects you so much and could change alot, but you wont really get teh chance of sem again
