No. He is a real person.
This is totally note true. I davened at the same shul as Mordechai Schmutter (before I moved), and he & his wife had my family over for shabbos seudos. I don’t know where you got your info from, NeedSeminaryHelp, but I know Mordechai personally, and I can tell you that what you heard is completely untrue.
You can see videos of Mordechai by searching on a popular video sharing website (rhymes with Jewtube). You can never be sure, but it looks like a man to me.
of course she would dress up like a man. what heimishe crowd would have a woman perform for a bunch of men.
Probably, anyone posting that Mordechai Shmutter is a real person is another screen name of his mother. (You had me fooled, “gavra_at_work”).
I don’t care WHO he is – he cracks me up with every column. Between his columns and Rocky Zweig’s fabulous letters, I am ready for Shabbos!!!!!!!!
Um, did anyone think of going on whitepages.com and looking up Schmutter in Passaic? I can’t ask that question on Hamodia, but you guys are online.
Mordechai and family have been in my house many times and ive been to his. in fact i look forward to hearing about his purim costume.
