    You know what a chinchilla is? I don’t want one as a pet, but I think my neighbor does. What do you think?

    No, but I saw a picture of one and it was so cute! I want one as a pet! If your neighbor ever gets one tell him to invite me over for a play date. 🙂

    I don’t think he will, because he’s married to someone who doesn’t particularly like them.

    I LOVE chinchillas!! A friend of mine owned one and we babysat for her for a few months. Her name was whiskey but my brothers called her pocket. She was so amazing to hold!

    From what I understand, chinchillas are not immortal.

    SWAT – it was actually much worse than that. We had the chinchilla while my friend was in the hospital and rehab after an emergency liver transplant and amputation of both legs. When he was discharged he found a new home for Whiskey 🙁
