Rivka Willner, 33, of Lakewood was driving on Route 9 South near the Wawa gas station at 12:33 a.m. Sunday when her vehicle was struck by the Lexus, driven by Farhad Qamar-Yousufzai, 34, of Manalapan, Old Bridge Police Lt. Robert Schluter said.
Schluter said Qamar-Yousufzai was charged with assault by auto, driving while intoxicated as well as other charges. Patrolman John Bulin of the Old Bridge Traffic and Safety Unit is investigating, he said.

January 7, 2014 5:32 pm at 5:32 pm #1049467streekgeekParticipantShulmis bas Sara is still in serious condition. There hasn’t really been much response from her at all. Both had their facial bones crushed really bad, so recovery in this area will take a while. The girl’s family that I know has requested privacy so I don’t really have anything substantial to add. There was an asifa in Lakewood last night for the two of them. Keep davening!!!! And if I hear any good news I’ll definitely let you all know.
