Rabbiner Hirsch ZT’L campaigned for the government to have no say in religious matters. I believe nowadays we should campaign for the same thing. So the State won’t tell us who we can marry and when we should take our holidays and the religions won’t create laws which will affect non-religious people, or those of a minority faith or interpretation.

There will be some issues which will crossover, such as Mila, or Shechita, but these can be worked through they way we do presently.

    What do you think?

I got lucky. Although the government decided who I must marry, she turned out to be an excellent wife.
