    I signed up with Rubber Ducky Filter right after the internet asifa last May or June. Since that time I’ve only been able to contact them a couple times to open sites i needed for work. For the past 6-9 months I’ve been trying to get through to someone over there to open some more sites, but it seems like no one is home!! It’s so so frustrating. I can’t even stop the service as it’s on my internet lines and i have no way of hacking in there!!

    Anyone out there have this issue or know how I can speak to a live person? When i call their published phone number I get a recording stating that they are not taking new customers, and for help I should press “1”, and then I get a busy signal.

    Where have these people run off to???

    I have the same problem!!! Not only that – my filter doesn’t even work! It’s nonexistent! I don’t understand what’s going on and it’s killing me. If anyone has any ideas I would be so grateful to hear.

    And it’s not a scam in every sense of the word – it is connected to a reputable company whose popular online presence is still alive and well

    My filter is working great, and i’m happy with what it filters out MOST OF THE TIME. However, i want to know where they’re hiding!! I just need a few sites opened. The deadline with one of my projects is in a month and i really need that site!!

    Who is the reputable company that’s “a popular online presence”??

    The Rubber Ducky filter took over for the Matzav filter, although I’m not sure if it’s a separate company.

    Maybe contact guard your eyes or better yet TAG and explain your problem. Call TAG (Technology Awareness Group). They can probably assist you.

    Just an update – I called Verizon and happened to have gotten a very nice tech on the phone. He was able to disable the filter completely at no cost and it took about 10 minutes.

    I’m currently very happy about it, and will of course get a new filter. But it occured to me how easy it would be for anyone to bypass this on any computer. Now that I know what to do, I can probably do it again…defeats the purpose of a filter IMO. But I will have to investigate further. Maybe there are other filters that are more fail-proof?
