I saw a picture where there was a fellow lying down in the grave of R Ovadia and another was standing and they were Davening. Is this some sort of segulah or just some guys hanging out in R”O zatzals grave. I though one way or the other that it was a weird pic to say the least.

Of course it wasn’t a segula! If Rav Ovadia ZT”L wasn’t in there, it’s just a regular pit.

It was just some young hockers goofing around. I apologize if I’m accusing falsely.

with 800,000 + people at the levaya the odds of there being a few loons is 100%

I would suppose maybe he was trying it out.

Or maybe he was from the old time mussar school where they would do that to bring on a certain “erenste” mind-frame or mindset.

Or maybe he was just trying to make sure it was properly construed.

I saw a group of men standing by the kever of R’ Yonason HaSandler. One was blindfolded and stood in front, facing the kever while another guy stood in front of him giving him mussar.

There are strange frum people in this velt.

It is a minhag among people to go into the kever before the person is buried,it a segulah for long life(especially done by Ger Chassiddim)

Trying out a Kever at Sanhedriah Cemetery is futile since this cemetery is sold out of available plots.

Based on what was posted on YWN this past week, it seems all cemeteries in Yerusholayim are sold out of plots.
