About a month ago, I told Time Warner Cable that at the end of this billing cycle they should disconnect my internet, It’s too expensive and whatever parnassah I got via internet doesn’t approach the expense of it, plus I used to call lonely people way more often, and accomplish extra things before I had a computer to “unwind” with at the end of the day. Even though I have THE WORLD’S BEST INTERNET FILTER – NATIV – I still think “going Amish” will save “a velt of gelt” (all these quotes are for you, Ender)….and I will bli neder go back to using my chill-time to cheer up others instead of just myself!
I have until the 24th iy”h and b”h a new business venture of mine is “off the ground” so I am quite busy, but I want to say this very important message to all of you:
I consider the CR a major source of chizuk and inspiration (and occasional insanity) and I thank all of you (in case I forget next week) for really boosting me when I needed it!!I’ll probably be over-posting the next few days, so don’t mind me:)
Speaking of Amish… I’m a frum male with a beard and yarmulke. A few years ago, I was teaching a special ed math class in a public high school. I was basing some lessons on my need to buy a new car, talking about things like gas mileage, auto loans, etc. This was at the time of the Amish school shooting (google it if you don’t know what I’m talking about), so the Amish were in the news. One day one of my students asked me if I were Amish. Another student piped up, “Of course not. He uses a calculator.”
What if we all sponsor your service?
I can’t believe a Jew would call him/herself Amish, would you call yourself Christian or Muslim? If not, why is Amish different?
Before we lose touch completely, can I ask you how much time lapsed between edgewater and canada?

Lucky you, Eclipse. You can just disconnect service and be (again) off. My work (what’s that) requires me being always on-line, so in my off-time (don’t tell anyone – more on than off) I always snoop around here. (I don’t really post, do I)
