    The Yeshiva World Edition!

We all remember the board game The Game of Life where you go from a young person and end up in retirement, in the beginning of the game you have to choose if you will go to college to get a better future or if you will go directly into the workforce and as you go along you land on different spaces that have fortunes or misfortunes, you get married, have children, make money, lose money, so on and so on, so what would the yeshivish version of this game be like? what would the spaces say what choice would you have to make in the beginning of the game and what would be winning the game? this is a fun thread lets keep it lighthearted and respectful thank you.

At the beginning of the game you get a choice to start in kollel or to start in kollel.

What kind of choice is that? What about the girls???

Instead of college or career, it would be yeshiva or career, or homemaker or career.

Take out $40,000 in bank loans for the kids’ elementary schools, not college.

yes, it is true that many Jewish girls go for Speech therapy, but can I just say that it is not on the same level as a shaitel macher/ kindergarten teacher. Schooling for speech Language Pathology is not a joke; it is challenging, and there is so much more to “speech therapy” than lisps and “r”‘s. about 1/3 of a speech language pathologists’ caseload will be articulation (speech sounds). it will mostly be children with language disorders. SLP is extremely science-based. do not interchange it with special ed. special ed people do not need to take advanced neuro anatomy.
