I have just discovered a frum woman singer named Chanale. Her stuff is pretty good. She sings for women and kids and her CDs are sold at Jewish bookstores, etc. I was wondering if this is Kosher? I have always loved singing religious music, but wasn’t sure if there was any place for it in this world due to “kol isha,” but I find her music really inspiring and I too have a desire to inspire kids with music, thoughts?
she’s not the only frum singer who puts out CDs! Look on mostlymusic or the like, under female singers
Seahorse: Are you a girl? If so, it is kosher.
There is also Malky Giniger, and Leah Forster for some comedy. 🙂
