March 29, 2013 9:50 pm at 9:50 pm #941719 spiralParticipant 1 lg raw beet 1/2 c. lightly compacted maror sugar and lemon juice to taste dash of salt Grate the beet and maror with the kugel blade in processor. Can use cooked beets, but tastes better with raw. During the year I use vinegar instead of lemon juice. Makes about 1 lb. of chrain.
